My Mother’s Lesbian Jewish Wiccan Wedding
Sankoff and Hein’s first musical, based on David’s mother’s true story of discovering her sexuality, rediscovering her faith, and coming out to her teenage son–all set against the backdrop of the same-sex marriage legalization movement, which sadly is more current than ever, with LGBTQ+ rights under siege around the globe.
Wiccan Wedding won Best of the Toronto Fringe,Outstanding New Play/Production (Now Awards),Canadian Comedy Award nomination, Most Promising New Musical, Excellence inWriting (New York Musical Festival), the Weston New Musical Award and Best Musical awards for productions across North America, with Sankoff and Hein performing in many of them.

Cut From Away
Raising money for the Gander SPCA, Sankoff and Hein assembled cast and band members from the Come From Away Broadway production at the famed 54 Below club to share songs and scenes that were cut along the way, celebrating even more untold Come From Away stories!

Commissioned by the Canadian government to create a commercial for their “Nice”campaign, Sankoff and Hein worked with countless celebrated Canadian artists, actors, athletes and animators to create a mini-musical celebrating all things Canada.
